Terms of Service

1. Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Old Genius Creative website and any design, hosting, or update services you purchase from us. By using this site or commissioning work, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. The £399 Website Package

Our standard website package includes a bespoke five-page website (typically Home, About, Services, Gallery / Portfolio, and Contact). The price is a one-off payment of £399 unless otherwise agreed in writing. This covers design, build, basic on-page SEO, and a working contact form.

• You must provide all text, images, and content in a timely manner.
• Two rounds of revisions are included. Further revisions may incur additional charges.
• We reserve the right to decline projects that fall outside our expertise or capacity.

3. Optional Add-Ons

Hosting (£20 per month) and updates (£40 per month) are optional and billed separately. These are subscription services that can be cancelled at any time with 30 days' notice. No refunds are given for partial months.

4. Payment

Full payment is required before work begins unless we have agreed a written payment schedule. We accept payment via Stripe or bank transfer. All prices are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.

5. Intellectual Property

Once the final invoice is paid in full, you own the website content, code, and design. We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing.

6. Timelines

Typical build time is one to two weeks from receipt of all required content. Delays caused by late content delivery, scope changes, or third-party issues are not our responsibility but we will communicate revised timelines promptly.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

If you cancel before work has started, we will refund your payment in full. If work has commenced, we will refund any unearned portion at our discretion based on time spent. No refunds are given once the site has been delivered and approved.

8. Liability

We build websites to best-practice standards but cannot guarantee specific business outcomes (search rankings, enquiry volumes, or revenue). Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
